Labor History Society Annual Meeting

The Wisconsin Labor History Society will feature a forum, “Labor and Environmental Justice” as part of its 41st Annual Meeting to be held virtually at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 23.

Scott Dewey, author of “Don’t Breathe the Air: Air Pollution and U.S. Environmental Policies, 1945-1970,” and professor, University of Minnesota Law School, will open the presentation to be followed by a panel, including Dennis Delie, Secretary-Treasurer, Wisconsin State AFL-CIO; Marc Rosenthal, Sierra Club; and Pam Fendt, President, Milwaukee Area Labor Council.

The forum will be followed by the Society’s Annual Meeting that will involve election of officers, financial reports and other business.

The forum portion of the meeting is open to the general public, although only members may participate in the Annual Business Meeting.
