Congratulations to UAW Local 722 in Hudson and all UAW-GM workers on your contract! Your courage and persevere have built all workers collective power.

The ratified contract includes an economic package of an $11,000 per member signing bonus, performance bonuses, two 3% annual raises and two 4% lump sum payments and holding the line on health care costs.

“General Motors members have spoken. We are all so incredibly proud of UAW-GM members who captured the hearts and minds of a nation. Their sacrifice and courageous stand addressed the two-tier wage structure and permanent temporary worker classification that has plagued working-class Americans." - Terry Dittes, UAW Vice President and Director of the UAW-GM Department

At the Wisconsin AFL-CIO, we are incredibly proud of the support and solidarity shown for UAW Local 722 members who went on strike in Hudson. From donation of food and supplies, to cookouts and pizza deliveries, visits from Wisconsin politicians and showing up on the picket line to walk with UAW Local 722 members, our Wisconsin labor movement support made a difference to striking families in Hudson and helped secure a positive outcome for working families.
